Archer, I find Solna 124/125 suitable for short and medium run single color print. It may not be the best but it is good enough to finish your job in a short time. But don't listen to me. It is only my humble opinion. Let's listen to more experienced printers. Smile

What's the speed and image size of the Solna 124/125? Also, how much does it cost?

Solna 124 is about 18x24 inch max paper size while 125 is 18x25. Max image size is slightly smaller its max paper size. On the average it runs about 3,000 impression per hour. If I were you i will buy the 125 it costs less than 300k. 124 is cheaper but it's an older model.

I agree.

Solna 125 if a good compact and handy machine. Makeready times are very short. This is an excellent machine for printing books.

However, investing in a good 2 color perfecting machine is the ideal. This machine will allow you to print on both sides of the sheet in one pass. There are several good models in the market but i think the 18x25 size is the best entry level machine for book production.

Good luck!

We need a bigger press to maximize the number of ups.
