I got my training in Singapore for EFI fiery system for digital press and color proofing.
The fiery system allows 1 paper calibration and liearization - using SPECIFIC PAPER. if you did not use the "specific paper" do not expect that you get the optimum calibration.

Depending on the module and package, it is capable of getting the verification for iso 12647-7.

EFI is the most common Digital Front End here in Philippines especially those toner base Digital Printer of KM, Develop,Ricoh,Canon, Sharp and the Fuji Xerox.

Print for pay or Copy Center that offers on demand color intensive printing are the red ocean users of these RIP's.
Commercial Printers users are also tailored the same so that color gamut of the printer will be extend to the commercial printing specification such as GRACOL and ISO.

I haven't seen the Konica Minolta made Color Controller called it Color Centro in action.

Also the CREO is not visible here in Philippines maybe because of the cost is to high compare to the EFI Fiery.

as far as i know Heidelberg is already developing the Color Controller that drives the New Ricoh Production Printers.
