Generally, only up to 5,000 hours.

Depending on the technology, a violet technology will last more, than thermo and UV ctp

In thermo and UV ctp,
When switching ON the CTP, you also switch ON the Laser even it is not exposing

In Violet CTP,
When you Switch ON the CTP, the laser still NOT switch ON, it will only switch ON when there is something to expose.

Ex. if you are only exposing 50 plates a day - thermo and UV used the 8 hrs ( working hour), for the violet ctp, only 2 or 2.5 hrs. the violet laser can last up to 5 years or more.

The hurting part is the price of laser of thermo - as of todays currency exchange the price is 1.7M more or less, while violet has the price of 1/4 of the thermo.
